How much does it cost to run a grow light?
Less than most people fear. A small LED over a bench of herbs draws about the same as a couple of household bulbs, and even a decent tent setup is modest next to a heater. Run it on a timer for the hours the plants need and the cost stays sensible.
How do I know what size light I need?
It comes down to the area you want to cover, not the plant count. Measure your growing footprint and we match a light that covers it evenly at the right height. Bring your measurements in and we will size it for you.
Are LED grow lights better than the old ones?
For most home growers, yes. Modern LEDs run cool, sip power and give a full spectrum across the whole grow, so you are not swapping lights halfway through. They are the simplest and most economical choice for a small space.
How high should the light hang?
Most lights come with a recommended hanging height and you adjust from there by watching the plants. Too close can scorch the tops, too far and they stretch. We will show you where to start.
